Mudra is a very exact and scientific Yogic function by which one can develop and even change one's internal and external disposition viz. Mental (anger, emotional disturbance, intelligence etc.), Spiritual (concentration, meditation) or Physical (in various diseases, illnesses). Mudras need no prior preparation. They can be done (mostly but with exceptions) at any time, anywhere and virtually under any circumstances. Constant practice of Mudras can stop or slow down the destructive changes in the human body. This online Mudra Therapy course teaches you the art of touching one finger of the hand with the other finger(s) in a particular way and position, that has been defined as Mudra. It contains both interactive video tutorials and text lessons that help learners to understand the content in a better way.

Course Content
Lesson 1 : Mudra Therapy explained, Characteristics of Five Elements explained, How to perform Mudras
Lesson 2 : Elements (Space, Fire, Air, Earth, Water) : As per Naturopathy, a disease occurs due to imbalance in these Elements which exist in our body. So if an Element is excessive, it has to be sedated (toned down, decreased or weakened) and if an Element is deficient, it has to be tonified (increased or strengthened), for proper functioning of body. Properties of these Five Elements will be explained, so that you can find out an imbalance of which Element causes which disease. Following Mudras willl be explained for this :
1. Akaash vardhak (Space tonification) Akash Mudra
2. Akaash shamak (Space sedation) Shoony Mudra
3. Vayu vardhak (Air tonification) Gyan Mudra
4. Vayu shamak (Air sedation) Vayu Mudra
5. Prithvi vardhak (Earth tonification) Prithvi Mudra
Or Fire shamak (Agni sedation)
6. Prithvi shamak (Earth sedation) Surya Mudra
Or Fire vardhak (Agni tonification)
7. Jal vardhak (Water tonification) Varun Mudra
8.Jal shamak (Water sedation)Jal Shamak
Lesson 3 : (Mudras as per Yoga (Pran, Apan, Saman, Udan, Vayu) : As per Yoga, Prana is the life force in our body. This Prana is divided into 5 Five Vayus : Prana Vayu, Apana Vayu, Saman Vayu, Udan Vayu and Vayana Vayu. An imbalance in these also causes disease in the body. As explained above, these have to be controlled for body functioning. Properties of these Five Vayus will be explained, so that you can find out an imbalance of which Vayu causes which disease. Following Mudras willl be explained for this :

Lesson 4 : Ayurveda (Vaata, Pitta, Kapha) : As per Ayurveda, there are 3 bodily humors in our body. An imbalance in these causes diseases. Properties of these will also be explained in this lesson to enable you to find out excess or deficiency of which humor causes which disease. These three humors are combination of two Elements each, as given below :
